We Are Lancaster is embarking on a project to visually archive our city. The guidelines of the project are simple, we are sending one photographer each week on a walk of three blocks and asking them to capture the city as they see it in one session. Our desire is to build a library of images of Lancaster, photographed by her citizen artists. We are not asking for the most beautiful or flattering images, just for each participant to record each portion of the city from their point of view.We are starting at the heart of the city and going north, south, east and west from the square. Our first set of images were captured by Tim Hoover and Jed Burkholder, beginning at the square and covering the first three block of South Queen Street.
