We asked fans on the We Are Lancaster facebook page to make suggestions of what to do this weekend in Lancaster.

    firstfriday

Danielle James - LIVE MUSIC at 532 W Chestnut St. At the chestnut hill cafe on first Friday! 5-8 SHOW YOUR SUPPORT!
Kimberly Carlo - Check out First Friday downtown and don’t miss Building Character on the 300 block of North Queen Street. It has lots of quirky and fun items and people
Layne Scarselletta - The PA Ren. Faire
Nida Setthachayanon -I hear there’s an awesome First Friday show at this gallery called the Infantree.
Rebecca Deibler - First Friday, downtown, of course…Eastern and Central Markets Saturday morning…ice cream at Carmen and David’s Saturday night…brunch for BFBL at John J. Jeffries Sunday morning…sounds like a plan!!!
Lydia Brubaker - First Friday New Play Readings by the Lancaster Dramatists’ Platform - 9pm at the Fulton Clubhouse, 18 N. Water St. - Free and open to the public!
Rafael Diaz -Tuesday the 11th- 1994! West Coast Tour homecoming show w/ We Were Skeletons, Edhochuli, and Who Goes There? at The Stomping Grounds (524 w. king st). 7:00pm 5 dollars.
Ryan Martin - Annie Bailey’s Deck. It’s going to be a gorgeous night. Carmen and David’s for dessert. And stop up and see the Infantree.

We recommend checking out the Heitmann Atelier & Gallery, Metropolis, Cosas Gallery, Lancaster Galleries, Progressive Galleries, PCA&D, and everything else. Its best to get caught up in the crowds and wonder without a plan…Check out the LancasterARTS website and choose your own adventure.

We do not want to use this site to push our own events, BUT we couldn’t resist giving a sneak peek of our show for tonight. We are welcoming David Mazure to Lancaster. David is a professor at Eastern Tennessee University who lives and works in North Carolina. His work is tightly rendered, and beautiful. You can read his artist statement on The Infantree Gallery site.

The Gadjo Playboys will be playing outside at Carr’s from 7-10 tonight and Jessica Smucker will be playing at Progressive Galleries for First Friday!
